No minimum deposit required. IRA contribution limit is $6500 ($7500 for age 50 or older) per IRS regulations. Matures with principal and interest renewing automatically.
*IRA accounts may be withdrawn from; however, any withdrawals may be subject to penalties imposed by the credit union and/or the internal revenue service. Contact a credit union employee for more information.
The IRA Certificate Account is a term share account. The Annual Percentage Yield is fixed at the time you make the initial deposit to open or renew the account, and will not change during the term of the Certificate. Dividends earned are posted and compounded quarterly. Early withdrawal penalties apply. **You should consult your tax professional to see which specific tax advantages apply to your situation.
